Louisville Native Jenifour Jones divides her time between Los Angeles, New York and Louisville, KY; going wherever the event takes her. With a major in Acting in Film/TV Production at Emerson College, Jenifour moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to pursue a career in entertainment.
It was in LA that Jenifour first developed the Go Get It Events concept. Bored with traditional gifts, Jenifour concocted outrageous events for the birthdays of her family and friends. Average surprise parties became delightful scavenger hunts and adventures brought to life by an engaging cast of actors.
The result? “Everyone loved it,” remembers Jenifour. “People told me they felt like they were living in an incredible movie or dream. I took them out of their reality for one night and gave them something more powerful than a normal and tangible gift.”
Soon after, word spread to what she was doing and Go Get It Events was born. Eventually clients started asking Jones to plan and design their dream weddings and other events. While planning events around the country and work, it was a natural step to start offering luxury travel services as well.
Now clients use Go Get It Events for all of their special occasions as well as travel needs.

Founded by the original “Proposal Planner,” Jenifour Jones, Go Get It Events pioneered the proposal design industry in 2004, was honored as one of Modern Bride’s top trendsetters in 2007 and was nominated for Biz Bash’s Social Event Planner of the Year in 2012. Jenifour continues to lead Go Get It Events to create experiences across the globe.
